It is the 3rd edition of Midnight Fearless Run with Milind Soman in Chennai...

For too long women everywhere have been asked to conform to society’s narrow views of dos and don’ts.

Any woman seen out after a particular time are immediately judged and stereotyped. Sometimes they are punished. This happens in every village, every town, and every city. Women have an equal right to be where ever they want, at whatever time they choose to and however they may choose to dress.

*FEARLESS is an endeavor to get women to make a strong statement about their right to reclaim spaces*

*FEARLESS is not a protest, it is a statement of fact, a call to solidarity. Women will run, walk and celebrate themselves and reclaim the night in a strong statement of affirmation of who they are, and what they must do, to feel safe and secure*

*FEARLESS is the platform created for them to exercise this choice*

Breast Cancer Hub interviews Neerja Malik

Breast Cancer Hub is a global community with a vision to save lives by Awareness, Volunteering, Education, and Research about breast cancer. Breast Cancer Hub recently interviewed Neerja Malik, a two times Cancer Conqueror and Cancer Counsellor. Neerja Malik is the author of the book 'I Inspire' in which she explains how she thrived by using the ten treasures of life. Hope the story of Neerja Malik inspires many more women to overcome shyness and speak oepnly about their breast health.

My dearest friend, Sakina Ansari, guided us and we prayed, hand in hand, for peace and rain, actually visualizing Chennai being drenched in a wonderful downpour...

And then I shared my feelings on peace and how I had taught my twins, as soon as they could speak, to chant the prayers of the Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian faiths and then communicate with God about anything that was in their hearts and on their minds...

I truly believe that we humans are  "Citizens of the World", first and foremost, before being anything else and look forward, eagerly, to the day when we can all be linked together in love, peace and joy...
