LIFE PARACHUTE...
"The title itself, took me by surprise. So simply, so effectively, so briefly stated. And as I eagerly flicked through the book, I immediately knew what was in store for me. An absolutely fun filled flight.
And the taglines. 'Love your Life and Yourself'.
'Know your Life and Yourself'.
And the promise at the end.
'I am your Guide for Life'.
They intrigued me and prompted me to turn the pages, excitedly, one by one and to applaud the Pilot, Manjoo Shree, for putting things so beautifully into perspective for young minds belonging to old souls though. Their journey through life is much more wrought with trials and tribulations than ours ever was. The kind that people from our generation were never exposed to. Oh, the troubles of the newest NextGen.
But as I read on, I realized that this book was a carrier of hope and harness. There was joy, there was adventure, there was excitement, there was success. And more than anything else, there was the opportunity to constantly introspect. The interactive layout encouraged the traveller to do so. To go deeper and deeper within, while unraveling the onion layers of themselves.
The foreword, more than inviting, was a trailer of glorious things yet to come. In a nutshell, here was the structured preparation for life, the teachings that covered all aspects and guided the young reader in dealing and coping with all kinds of situations that could befall him, stump him and then lead him onto the triumphant victory over himself and his surroundings.
There are secrets that unfold, slowly but surely, to overcome discord and reach the twin peaks of peace and harmony.
All I can say is that in these trying and confusing times, here is a simplified method that leads the children to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. And the pot of gold is nothing other than real, true and undiluted Happiness.
I wish we had books like these in our childhood. But that was then. And this is now. Now is the need felt to fill a void, a precursor of these traumatic times.
Bravo, dear Manjoo Shree, to be so sensitive as to pick up these gaps in the lives and times of our beloved children and to fill up these lapses and remedy them by offering positive solutions to these inquisitively enquiring, enthusiastically questioning and fairly independent, young hearts. I wish you phenomenal success in all your heady flights dear.
God Bless."
