#whydoyouvolunteer #chennaivolunteers #thankyouvolunteers #volunteermatters #volunteerdiaries #volunteerspeak #ivd2019"
"She lights up a room when she walks into it, she livens up the spark when she talks and she gives you strength when she hugs you! Inspirational speaker and author Neerja Malik is a story of grit, courage and love, and for her volunteering is an extension of these values. In her words, “ "Manava Seva is Madhava Seva" and nothing gives my soul pure, unadulterated joy than the smiles of the beloved ones I have touched, knowingly or unknowingly. Being diagnosed with the Big C is a traumatizing and shattering experience and I feel blessed, with the Grace of God, to be a willing instrument in sharing ripples of positive energy, strength and solace to help people overcome this adversity strewn in life's journey. God is Great.”
Thank you Neerja for your kindred spirit and allowing us to be a small@part of your journey. This is CV’s social media campaign where some of our lead volunteers share what motivates them to volunteer."

Words of Praise for the Book 'I Inspire' by Neerja Malik
Vandana Trivedi, director assets, IDFC says, "The book I Inspire: The story of Neerja Malik as told to Megha Bajaj is a beautiful bible on life. It has wisdom rolled into the pages and often times I found myself moist eyed with the discovery of each treasure. I plan to gift this to my sisters and mom!
Dear Neerja,
It was wonderful spending a day with you and I feel like I have known you my entire life. Here's my review:
When I first heard of 'I Inspire' by Neerja Malik, I had imagined it to be an inspirational story of a cancer survivor. Which it was, but the story and her life is much more than the C word. The story is as much about her as it is about you and me. Be it, her mischievous childhood days or an even more impish adulthood, the book makes you feel like you have been a part of her roller coaster journey all along.
I have never been a great fan of 'inspirational' books, but this was quite something. 'I Inspire' had me grinning and laughing for most parts. As much as it was fun, it also gave me a sense of tranquility, much like Neerja's real life persona. Give it a read and you'll start to believe the everyday miracle life is.
Love,
Catherine Gilon

Neerja Malik releases the Hindi Version of the book 'Life Parachute' by Manjoo Shree
7th July, 2019...
With Manjoo Shree...
for her book launch....
of "LIFE PARACHUTE"...
............Lifeolicious.............
LIFE PARACHUTE...
"The title itself, took me by surprise. So simply, so effectively, so briefly stated. And as I eagerly flicked through the book, I immediately knew what was in store for me. An absolutely fun filled flight.
And the taglines. 'Love your Life and Yourself'.
'Know your Life and Yourself'.
And the promise at the end.
'I am your Guide for Life'.
They intrigued me and prompted me to turn the pages, excitedly, one by one and to applaud the Pilot, Manjoo Shree, for putting things so beautifully into perspective for young minds belonging to old souls though. Their journey through life is much more wrought with trials and tribulations than ours ever was. The kind that people from our generation were never exposed to. Oh, the troubles of the newest NextGen.
But as I read on, I realized that this book was a carrier of hope and harness. There was joy, there was adventure, there was excitement, there was success. And more than anything else, there was the opportunity to constantly introspect. The interactive layout encouraged the traveller to do so. To go deeper and deeper within, while unraveling the onion layers of themselves.
The foreword, more than inviting, was a trailer of glorious things yet to come. In a nutshell, here was the structured preparation for life, the teachings that covered all aspects and guided the young reader in dealing and coping with all kinds of situations that could befall him, stump him and then lead him onto the triumphant victory over himself and his surroundings.
There are secrets that unfold, slowly but surely, to overcome discord and reach the twin peaks of peace and harmony.
All I can say is that in these trying and confusing times, here is a simplified method that leads the children to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. And the pot of gold is nothing other than real, true and undiluted Happiness.
I wish we had books like these in our childhood. But that was then. And this is now. Now is the need felt to fill a void, a precursor of these traumatic times.
Bravo, dear Manjoo Shree, to be so sensitive as to pick up these gaps in the lives and times of our beloved children and to fill up these lapses and remedy them by offering positive solutions to these inquisitively enquiring, enthusiastically questioning and fairly independent, young hearts. I wish you phenomenal success in all your heady flights dear.
God Bless."
Neerja Malik...
